Overview

In March 2024, my team and I participated in the Product Design Sprint hosted by Western Founders Network. Over an intense 72-hour period, we tackled design challenges—beginning with understanding users and their pain points, conducting in-depth research, and brainstorming innovative solutions. We then moved on to developing and evaluating a high-fidelity mockup app, ensuring that the design was both functional and user-friendly. Finally, we presented our solution to a panel of judges, including individuals with disabilities, demonstrating how our design addressed accessibility, usability, and inclusivity.

What I Learn

1️⃣ Define clear objectives to maintain focus on the core problem and create effective solutions that prioritize users.

2️⃣ Thorough Research Matters, but Gaps Exist 🔍 – Conducting extensive research is crucial, but sometimes answers aren’t readily available, requiring creative problem-solving and user testing.

3️⃣ Problem-Solving & Accessibility Are Key 🛠️♿ – Designing accessible features is essential, and understanding user behavior helps create a more inclusive and functional experience.
